Telehealth Therapy in Alabama

The thing you're carrying has a name. Let's find it.

Most people don't come to therapy with one well-packaged problem. They come exhausted, stuck, or quietly aware that something has been off for longer than they want to admit.

Empowerment Therapy Group helps people understand what they're carrying, find language for it, and move forward.

A Different Kind of Conversation

The First Story Is Rarely the Whole Story

People come in saying they're tired, when they're actually grieving.

Couples come in saying they keep arguing, when they're stuck in a pattern neither person knows how to break.

Parents come in saying their child has changed -- when what's really happening is anxiety, pressure, or a feeling the child doesn't yet have words for.

The first story matters. But it's rarely the whole story.

At Empowerment Therapy Group, the work is about getting underneath -- finding what's actually driving the stress, the conflict, the silence, or the shutdown -- and helping people take the next step from a place of clarity instead of pressure.

If something has been weighing on you long enough that you are asking that question, that is usually reason enough to reach out. Therapy is not only for people in crisis. It is for anyone who is carrying something they cannot fully work through alone -- stress, grief, a relationship that is not working, a change they did not see coming, or just a heaviness that will not lift. You do not need to have it figured out before you contact us.

Empowerment Therapy Group does not provide crisis services. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please do not use email for crisis support -- it is not monitored in real time.
